Summer faded fast this year in Nova Scotia, leaving us with days of a cold north wind that carried the cooler temperatures across the water. The evening I met this sweet family was one of those days, but in Nova Scotia I have learned that it is always a beach day, regardless of the weather! As we walked across the sandbar to Micou's Island you could feel that wind, and it was chilly! But that certainly didn't stop us from having an amazing time and capturing some very sweet (and funny - I'm looking at you Braxton;) memories! These three sweet boys were amazing. Micou's Island is always a fun place and these kiddos had a great time! After sticking it out on the beach side in the wind we walked up into the field where it was blessedly less windy. Then a short jaunt through the woods and we emerged on the other side of the island just in time for an amazing sunset. This island has soooo much to offer, and I highly recommend going there for a walk, a beach, or better yet, an adventure with me!
