If you have been following me for a while you know that the absolute favourite part of my job is watching families and kiddos grow, and photographing this adorable duo multiple times makes my heart unbelievably happy. I met this sweet little girl and her amazing mama a few years ago when she was just a cute little pumpkin with her extended family, and then had the amazing pleasure of watching her turn one (which I apparently forgot to blog, ugh!), and again when she turned two. and (ahem) there may have been a few times in between as well. Let's just say these two and I have become fast friends;). Going back through older sessions really allows you to see how much (and how quickly!) these sweet babies of ours grow, and reminds me how precious this time when they are little really is.
Evelyn is as sweet and adorably sassy as they come! We had so much fun adventuring on the Rails to Trails to the the Bluff Wilderness Trail, down the trail, through the birch trees and under the tunnel, across the boardwalks and back again - this is seriously one of my very favourite places to photograph at! Watching Allison snuggle and twirl her girl was amazing, and seeing Evelyn's hilarious faces and hearing her sweet voice boss us adults around was unbelievably cute. Fun fact - when bossed around by a tiny person that doesn't belong to me I am always a little more inclined to follow orders lol.
Thank you Allison and Evelyn for yet another amazing session, you two are the sweetest!
