Susan & Richard - A Shearwater Wedding

The day of Susan and Richard's wedding dawned foggy and drizzly, with the rain threatening on and off. As I drove out to Shearwater Base I caught a glimpse of blue sky and knew that these two lovebirds were catching a break, the sun was going to come out! Unfortunately the humidity didn't break, as the day was stifling! Good ol' Nova Scotia summer, but the heat certainly didn't put a damper on this day. After a minor debacle involving some lost keys (I'm looking at you Richard ha;), it was smooth sailing right through, with the sweetest ceremony and an epic star wars exit down the isle. Afterwards we headed down to Fisherman's Wharf for some gorgeous photos (and a breath of fresh air) just as the fog rolled in to create some dreamy romantic ambiance. Gorgeous.

I absolutely loved capturing these two, the adoration was written all over their faces and they have so much fun together!! I remember the sheer joy from their engagement session as well, when they danced and laughed on the beach at Micou's Island, and it is sooooo much fun to watch. Dancing is one of their passions, and they certainly did not disappoint, preforming an amazing choreographed swing dance for their first dance, followed by some incredible dance moves as friends and family filled the floor. At one point there was a full-on Zumba lesson and let me tell you it was impressive, way to rock it out ladies!!!

Susan and Richard, I wish you a fun, joyous, dance filled life together!!! Thank you so very much for trusting me with your wedding day, it was such an amazing honour.
