Cake smashes are some of my favourite sessions (I know, I know, I say that about every type of session ha) but I do really love the chance to be a little extra creative and make something unique for such a special occasion. This sweet girl definitely deserved some extra sparkle with her winter one-derland theme, and it was so. much. fun. For once the temperamental late fall weather co-operated, and it was a perfect day to hop outside the studio for a few family photos to start off before heading inside. Little Stella wasn't too sure of the whole experience at first, but eventually warmed up. And while the cake wasn't exactly her favourite, she thourghouly enjoyed our antics, even eventually joining in with some singing of her own complete with hand moves. so dang sweet! Thank you so very much Stella, Lauriel and Myles for sharing a very special first birthday with me! You all were amazing:)
