Beth + Brad's Family Engagement Session

After having kids marriage can fall by the wayside; wedding planning replaced with planning birthday parties, bridal showers replaced with bubble baths, and head tables replaced with tiny chairs. Organizing schedules and and perpetually preparing snacks have a way of taking over, leaving little time for things like dress shopping and cake testing - ask me how i know;). So when I see a family planning their wedding I am nothing short of amazed. Fitting wedding planning into family life might not be for the faint of heart, but these two are making it happen in a big way.

Arranging photo sessions around the weather has become a new sport these days, and in an effort to beat the rain we started Beth and Brad's engagement session 30 mins earlier than we had originally agreed upon. Turns out that beating the tide on Micou's island is a bit of a sport in itself, and that half hour buffer saved us from getting too wet when the tide was suddenly over the sandbar. Fortunately by that time the kids were worn out, and my camera was full of these amazing images - I'm hoping they make the wet feet worthwhile! These two are incredible and obviously have so much fun together, and it shows in pretty much every image:). I loved capturing their sweet love, and of course I am so looking forward to seeing these sweet kiddos walking down the aisle at the wedding. Thank you so much Beth and Brad, you two are amazing!!
